核心精神 ｜The Spirit of MIT Program
MIT 學程並非將不同專業單純並列或形式上的拼接，而是以音樂編創、聲音設計、錄音製作與風格演繹等核心能力為基礎，進一步透過跨專業協作、影像媒體整合與當代藝術實踐，建構兼具創作、技術、展演、策展與空間思維的跨域能力架構。

MIT 學程所關注的，不只是技術訓練本身，更是如何在科技快速變動與媒介持續融合的時代中，重新定義音樂藝術的創作方法、感知方式與現場經驗。課程強調從專業核心能力出發，延伸至跨藝創演（Transdisciplinary Creative Performance）與整合策展（Integrated Curatorial Practice）等當代實踐，鼓勵學生於聲音、影像、空間、互動與科技之間，發展具實驗性、現場性與跨媒體特質的新型態藝術語言。

MIT 學程期望培育的不只是具備單一專業能力的創作者，而是能夠於跨域協作、國際藝術語境與真實創作現場中，整合創意、技術與策展思維，並回應未來藝術產業與當代文化場域需求的新世代藝術實踐者。

The MIT Program does not simply juxtapose disciplines or combine them through superficial interdisciplinary structures. Grounded in core areas including scoring and songwriting, sound design, recording production, and stylistic performance, the program further expands through cross-disciplinary collaboration, audiovisual integration, and contemporary artistic practice.

MIT emphasizes not only technical training, but also the redefinition of artistic creation, perception, and live experience within an era shaped by rapidly evolving technologies and converging media. Building upon strong disciplinary foundations, the curriculum extends into contemporary practices such as Transdisciplinary Creative Performance and Integrated Curatorial Practice, encouraging students to develop experimental, performative, and cross-media artistic languages across sound, image, space, interaction, and technology.

The program ultimately seeks to cultivate not merely single-discipline specialists, but a new generation of artistic practitioners capable of integrating creativity, technology, performance, and curatorial thinking within collaborative environments, international artistic contexts, and real-world creative practice.
